The roar of F-15s overhead at this time of year can only mean that The Republic of Singapore Air Force is hard at work rehearsing for the National Day Parade.
As we are in Phase 2 (Heightened Alert) till 18 August, on 9 August we will hold a ceremonial parade to commemorate our independence. The NDP Show will be postponed till 21 August. By then the Heightened Alert should be over, and it should be a better time to hold the Show.
It has been a tough period for all of us. We cannot prevent storms from happening, but the F-15s’ tight formation reminds us to stay together as we navigate our way forward. We will get through this as one united people. – LHL
